Old school and new school collide with this exclusive fantasy die-cast offering from Lionel Racing to celebrate the second attempt at the DAYTONA 500 for JR Motorsports and driver Justin Allgaier.
To get ready for the 2026 DAYTONA 500, where Allgaier will once again chase the checkered flag in a No. 40 Traveller Whiskey Chevrolet, Lionel Racing is offering fans the opportunity to order this fantasy diecast that reimagines Allgaiers 2026 DAYTONA 500 livery as a 1978 Chevrolet.
Available in 1:24-scale in a hood-and-trunk-open model, this fantasy die-cast will feature all the stylings of a 1978 Chevrolet with the same decal package that will be on Allgaiers 2026 Traveller Whiskey ride in Daytona. An autographed 1:24-scale edition, signed on the windshield by Allgaier, is also available for order, as is a version in Lionel Racings gleaming Liquid Color finish. Collectors of 1:64-scale die-cast can also add this fantasy die-cast to their collections. This version will be produced with rolling rubber tires, a die-cast body and chassis, and will come fixed to a base and enclosed in a hard acrylic case to add to its collectability.
